This site is the online version of The College Hill Commoner, a neighborhood newspaper that covers news and happenings in the Wichita, Kansas, neighborhoods of College Hill, Crown Heights, Sleepy Hollow and Uptown. The print version is published each month and 5,000 copies are distributed to homes and businesses in the College Hill area.

The Commoner welcomes contributing writers and photographers. Education and experience are nice, but talent and tenacity win the assignment.
Writers: Send story pitches and at least two writing samples, in Word or PDF format, to the editor.
Photographers: Send us no more than three of your best shots, or point us to your online portfolio.
