There were hard hats, golden shovels, and the requisite camera flashes as soil was scooped up and tossed (“on the count of three”) last month at the Parkstone development site. The ceremony marked the kick-off of construction on the first phase of the project, the building of a half-dozen brownstone-like townhomes and a park at Victor Place and Rutan.
