At Neighborhood Garage, a Shocking Scene

It was not a random attack, but the scene at Marquee Motorcars early one morning last month was no less shocking to the immediate neighborhood. Abduction. Murder. A prominent corner on Douglas sectioned off with yellow tape. Police combing Uptown alleys, knocking on doors, checking backyards for evidence. Even 36 hours later squad cars were stationed outside the garage, a grim reminder of the crime scene inside that few in the neighborhood ever saw, but many seemed to hear about–and feel.
